Shipibo Traditional Medicine Retreat | Led by Maestra Elisa Vargas Fernandez
March 17th to March 24th 2024
Our Vision
Our retreats are rooted in the traditional Shipibo way.
Our vision revolves around curating an environment of silence, meditation, and unwavering focus to nurture inner exploration and growth. We aspire to create a space for profound transformation and healing.
Central to our retreat is the work connection with the medicine and the master plants. While the Maestra and her familia are always available to provide support and guidance, we encourage participants to embrace solo time, allowing them to deeply integrate their experiences.
We offer daily yoga, meditation, and breathwork practices to help facilitate the free flow of energy and prepare for the ceremonies.
Designed in the traditional Shipibo architectural style, the center offers all the essential comforts required for the transformative journey, intentionally avoiding unnecessary luxuries to provide an authentic connection with nature. Here, you’ll find yourself immersed in the heart of the jungle, fostering a direct and genuine experience of the natural world. The communal area provides a nurturing environment for sharing, connecting, and exchanging insights.
To ensure a more intimate and profoundly personal encounter with the medicine, we consciously limit each ceremony to a maximum of 15 participants. This restriction not only allows for a deeper connection with the medicine but also safeguards the individual experiences of our participants, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their journey.
Ultimately, our vision is to offer a week of intensive work aiming to push the boundaries of inner exploration and promote profound inner transformation and healing.
